2025 Leg-Up Application Criteria

1. LTF Leg-Up - Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the LTF Leg Up Scholarship, clinics must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an established aesthetic clinic or medspa offering injectable or device-based treatments.
  • Be led by a recognised, regulated medical professional.
  • Be based in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or the UAE (applications from other English-speaking countries will also be considered).
  • Operate from a physical premises with at least one qualified medical practitioner on-site.
  • Be actively providing (or formally commit to providing) at least 5% of annual aesthetic treatments on a pro bono basis to patients affected by medical conditions such as:
    • After-effects of cancer
    • Scarring caused by trauma
    • Bell's Palsy
    • Congenital conditions such as cleft lip
    • After effects of domestic violence or self-harm
    • Complications arising from botched non-medical procedures
  • Be ambitious and ready to scale, with a motivated team and a growth mindset.
  • Be willing to collaborate closely with the LTF team, provide transparent reporting, and allow LTF to share your story as part of our community initiative.

2. LTF Leg-Up Application Process

  • All applicants must submit a video application and complete a short written submission outlining their current services on the Leg-Up website. This should include an overview of the future business ambitions and charitable work.
  • Applications will be reviewed by a panel from the LTF Digital leadership team.
  • The decision of the panel is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into on the decision.
  • The winner of the Scholarship will be notified on the Details provided
  • Existing LTF Clients are able to apply and will be judged on the merit of the application alone.

3. Scholarship Inclusions

The selected clinic will receive 12 months of free, fully managed digital marketing services, including and limited to:

  • A brand new, professionally designed website
  • Up to a maximum of 3 rounds of design changes, if required
  • All content and images required to launch the website will be provided to LTF by the winning clinic of the Scholarship
  • The final Website will be limited to no more than 40 pages on launch.
  • 12 x months of website hosting and maintenance
  • 12 x Monthly marketing consultation sessions
  • 12 x Monthly ongoing SEO delivery and support (up to 8 hours per month)
  • 12 x 2 Monthly blogs, including writing and posting on the live Website
  • 12 x 2 Monthly Email marketing campaigns designed and sent to the Clinics mailing list on LTFs Email Platform of choice.
  • 12 x Monthly social media activity (6 x posts per month) on Meta Platforms only and send scheduling
  • Content creation will be using videos and pictures supplied from the clinic

4. Exclusions

The scholarship does not cover:

  • E-commerce Website features.
  • Paid advertising spend (e.g. Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram etc.)
  • Video or photography production, including shoot days
  • External backlink budgets or PR placements
  • Promotion is only for 1 clinic location as part of the Scholarship

5. Participation Commitments

The selected clinic must fully engage with the LTF team for the entire 12-month period, including:

  • Attending scheduled calls and strategy meetings
  • Providing timely approvals and content input
  • Submitting any required assets or performance feedback within agreed timelines

Important: Failure to engage for more than 30 consecutive days without valid reason may result in immediate removal from the programme, with the scholarship reallocated to another applicant.

6. General Terms

  • One scholarship per year: Only one clinic will be selected each year. Unsuccessful applicants may reapply in subsequent years.
  • Non-transferable: The scholarship cannot be transferred, resold or substituted.
  • No cash alternative: No cash value is assigned to any part of the scholarship.
  • Service limits: Monthly output will be capped at commercially reasonable levels (e.g. up to 2 blogs, 2 email campaign, and 5 social media posts per month).
  • One-time website: The website build is a one-off project and does not include redesigns or future development beyond regular maintenance.
  • No reselling or re-use: Scholarship recipients may not license, sell, or repurpose the assets created under this programme for third-party use without written permission.
  • LTF's Decisions are Final: Failure to follow the Terms and Conditions will result in LTF cancelling the Scholarship, and with immediate effect, all services offered as part of the Scholarship will be removed/stopped.

7. Legal & Ethical Compliance

  • All recipients must operate in full compliance with local medical regulations and licensing standards.
  • Pro bono treatments must be delivered with the same level of safety, care, and professionalism as standard services.
  • LTF reserves the right to request anonymised proof of charitable work for validation and ethical assurance.

8. Marketing & Publicity

By accepting the scholarship, the clinic agrees to allow LTF to share elements of their journey (including photography, video content, interviews, and marketing results) across our digital, social, and PR channels.

Recipients may be featured in case studies, press campaigns or marketing showcases aimed at inspiring other clinics to adopt similar charitable efforts.

9. Liability & Indemnity

  • Liability exclusion: LTF, its employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses of recipient clinics, including reputational/financial damages.
  • Indemnification clause: LTF Requires clinics to indemnify LTF for any claims arising from their content, treatment outcomes, or legal breaches.

10. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

LTF will maintain ownership for collateral created (website, blogs, posts) until the end of the 12 months, at which point a decision will be made on if and how the transfer of materials can take place.

LTF can continue to use finished materials for marketing even after the program ends.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

By applying for the Scholarship Clinics confirm compliance with data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) in the area where they are located.

12. IP Representations

Clinics should guarantee they hold all IP rights (e.g. for supplied images, videos) and that providing these assets won't infringe on third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by England & Wales law.

14. Tax & Financial Responsibility

Clinics are fully responsible for any taxes or duties resulting from the scholarship in their jurisdiction.
